DESCRIPTION
D-marc demarcation barrier has been installed by Height Safety Installation specialists Eiger Safety on a metal profile standing seam roof on the River Thames next to the Houses of Parliament.
The D-marc roof barrier system is used to create a safe zone upon the roof top.
Eiger Safety developed a roof access strategy following the hierarchy of safety – striving to achieve a collective protection solution to the whole of the roof area. D-marc was used extensively as part of the collective protection system to create a clearly defined safe access route across the roof to places requiring regular maintenance work. D-marc was then used to demarcate the safe working zones upon the roof top.
The easy to install non-penetrative D-marc demarcation barrier system creates a clearly defined access route and safe working zone for all those undertaking maintenance works under the watchful eye of Big Ben.
