Although spring is on its way and we’ve seen a little improvement in the weather here in the UK over the past few weeks, we seem to be revising the worst of the winter weather! This is not great news for roofing industry workers as bad weather means harsher and more dangerous working conditions. A recent survey of 16 – 18-year olds by a housing developer has revealed that fewer than 10% of young people would consider a career in construction, despite the fact that so many of them have an interest in subjects that qualify them for our sector.
