  1. Ensure the Workplace is Properly Resourced to Manage the Risk of COVID-19

A properly resourced business during the COVID-19 pandemic operates effectively while also maintaining physical distancing requirements. Some of the important measures to consider implementing include allowing some workers to work from home and staggering worker start times to ensure there’s a limited number of workers in the workplace at any given time.

It’s important to consider whether you’ll need to restructure your workplace or equipment to maintain safety. You may need to put up barriers between staff and clients or remove some furniture to provide more space in accordance with the social distancing UK guidelines. You need to also check whether workplace facilities such as bathrooms, dressing rooms, and other common areas are properly managed and stocked to keep workers safe.
