Demarcation System Configurator
Calculation of D-marc components required to create a demarcation system.
The D-marc system comprises 3 key components;
- D-marc post (comprising 1 x base & 1 x upright)
- D-marc chain (25m bag)
- Chain connector link.
The posts can be positioned at upto 3m centres.
To calculate the required number of D-marc posts; the required length of system should be divided by three and then add one.
Example 1 – 21m system
A 21m system requires eight posts and 1 bag of chain.
Example 2 – 48m system
A 48m system would require seventeen posts, two bags of chain and 1 connector link.
The chain comes in 25m lengths and can be cut to size or joined using the chain links supplied.
When installed. D-marc will create a demarcation barrier system with an average installed height of 950mm. The sizing of the components that make up the system, allow it to be packaged on a single pallet, minimising packaging and waste. The base weights are designed with a carrying handle and weigh less than 12.5kg each.
